Consultant Anaesthetist at the Royal Surrey County Hospital since 2008 specialising in anaesthesia for head & neck cancers and paediatric anaesthesia. He completed an Airway Fellowship in 2005 at the Royal Perth Hospital, Australia followed by one year at Great Ormond St Hospital, London in 2006 with an interest in advanced airway management.
Lead for the Advanced Airway Fellowship since 2009. RCOA-DAS Airway lead for the Royal Surrey County Hospital.
Course organiser for “The Unexpected Difficult Airway” day at the MATTU since 2009, “Anaesthesia for ENT” seminar days at the Association of Anaesthetists in London, lectured on the “Airway Day” and “Core Topics” day at the Royal College of Anaesthetists and teaches regularly on the Airway workshops for the Royal College of Anaesthetists and Difficult Airway Society.
