SPACeR continually run clinical fellowships for doctors in a variety of areas for senior and peri-CCT trainees. Experience shows that fellows have used these fellowships to substantially further their experience in desired areas, publish in peer-reviewed journals, present internationally, undertake national quality improvement roles, undertake higher research degrees in areas of their interest and secure their desired consultant positions with a vastly improved CV.  Each fellow has a direct clinical & educational supervisor, and there is much collaboration amongst the supervisors to ensure high standards for the fellows and plenty of opportunities to further fellowship experience. With our expanding research portfolio, we are also interested in all health professionals  working in our units who have an interest in research.

We are currently actively recruiting for senior fellow positions. We can offer 50% non-clinical time so that you can take the time required to undertake a project of your choosing with us, be it quality improvement, beneficial audit, formal research, or something else that is going to allow you to really boost your prospects. Just let us know what you want to do, as one thing we offer is support and opportunities.

We take the time to make sure rotas suit everyone and we are very flexible to ensure the best working opportunities. It is about the person, not just the job.
